The new Opescope Acteno surgical C-arm system from Shimadzu enables free and easy positioning and optimal performance to meet the demands of operation and emergency rooms. The system combines high image quality with ease of use.
The fully counter-balanced C-arm provides extra-light and the exclusive manual vertical C-arm movements enables much quicker height adjustments in routine operations. Shimadzu’s unique C-arm lock/release button at the image intensifier allows the C-arm to be positioned from the clinician’s side without the need to go back to the cart unit. The enlarged 78 cm wide opening of the C-arm facilitates approaches to the patient, minimizing the risk of contact with the operating table. The 1M high-resolution CCD camera, combined with Shimadzu’s advanced imaging technologies provides the required high image quality. X-ray conditions can be easily set with a large touchscreen on the C-arm unit, where it is possible to select/change between simple and expert mode. The screen can also show fluoroscopic images as an optional feature.
