Agfa HealthCare has announced the installation of a DX-D 600 Semi-Automatic Digital X-ray Suite at the Trillium Health Partners’ Credit Valley Hospital, a 382-bed acute care inpatient facility in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. The installation expands Agfa HealthCare’s existing relationship with the hospital, which already has Agfa HealthCare CR systems and IMPAX PACS. Currently, the system is used for a wide range of imaging exams from chest, abdomen spine, and extremity work for both ambulatory and in-patients. “Agfa HealthCare’s DX-D 600 was the obvious choice for our imaging needs, especially due to our high patient volume with more than 200,000 diagnostic exams performed each year. It made our training and rollout smooth and efficient.” The DX-D 600 is a high-productivity, ceiling-suspended, fully motorized, direct radiography system offering superb image quality and state-of-the-art design in three configuration options.
