The satellite symposium on “Contrast-enhanced ultrasound in the imaging of patients at risk of developing malignant lesions” that was sponsored by Bracco Imaging at the recent ECR meeting in Vienna was crowded to overflowing.
This article summarizes in particular the presentation on the role of Contrast-enhanced Ultrasound (CEUS) in patients with liver cirrhosis, a subject that is currently a controversial “hot” topic.
