The FUSION-X-US-II is the latest prototype version of a system that combines 3D-automated breast ultrasound (ABUS) and digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) and allows images from both modalities to be acquired in a single examination without any decompression or repositioning of the breast between the two acquisitions.
