Based in Shenzhen, China, Mindray is one of the leading global providers of medical devices including a range of medical imaging equipment. Last year, Mindray announced the acquisition of the US company Zonare who produce a range of premium ultrasound equipment. We wanted to find out more about the rationale behind the acquisition and the implications for users, so we spoke to Mr Jie Liu, Chief Operating Officer at Mindray.
